The Bendigo Group of the Australian Breastfeeding Association invites you to join us for conversation, a cuppa and a chance to catch up with other mums (and dads!!). You don't need to be a member to come and see what we do at meetings, and while we have regular attendees, we also have many people who come only occasionally. You probably won't be the only first time attendee at any meeting.

We meet at the YWCA building in Townsend Street, Bendigo. There is great access for prams, young children AND heavily pregnant women! There is also fabulous, free, close parking, making attending meetings really easy.

Our meetings take two forms. Some are informal chances to just be with other parents and chill out while watching our children play and grow. Others are sessions on specific breastfeeding and parenting topics. These sessions are run by trained Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) volunteers, and the ABA Code of Ethics is followed during these sessions and other group events.

We have a habit of saying that if you are running late, keep coming, and if you are really late, you should make it for the cuppa and a chat after our session anyway. We know what it is like to try and get out of the house on time with small children!
